The Duty: Modern Warfare Short 2

There’s no doubt that the latest upcoming iteration in Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty franchise is going to be an amazing game. Yet just as awe-inspiring is some of the fan made work based on Modern Warfare 2. I stumbled upon this video a few days ago and was instantly hooked. It’s the second of the Modern Warfare shorts created by One. The first video was titled “The Call” and this one is aptly named “The Duty.” Five minutes of guns, blood, and action all set atop amazing animation, music, and interesting story.

The thing that really sets this video apart from others though is the stunning visuals. The comic book-esque theme works really well here especially when coupled with the quality of the animation. It seems that a lot of work went into this clip but it all comes together rather nicely. By the end of the short you can’t help but to want more.
